Technical Support Executive

The Company: Our client is a global brand in the textile manufacturing sector, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Support the sales team in acquiring new business, maintaining market presence, growing key accounts, and addressing customer concerns related to product quality.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product evaluations, providing recommendations on machine adjustments to meet performance requirements.
• Help customers choose the best thread products for their specific applications, focusing on both performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Educate customers on the essential properties of fibers, thread constructions, and product lines, highlighting their relevance to sewing performance, durability, and cost efficiency.
• Assist production teams in identifying quality issues and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to perform field tests on new products, process modifications, and product enhancements.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar).
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in technical support or a related technical role, preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of sewing threads, yarns, textiles, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
• Proficient in using technical tools and software for product analysis and issue resolution.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of customer service best practices and quality standards.
