Role & Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for analytical equipment.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical expertise and support to customers during the sales process, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and answering technical queries.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in analytical equipment technology and industry trends.
• Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and influence product improvements.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and after-sales support.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and providing high-quality service.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure optimal product performance and gather feedback.
Training and Support:
• Conduct training sessions for customers and internal sales teams on the features, benefits, and operation of analytical equipment.
• Develop and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and sales materials.
Market Analysis:
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
• Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company’s products and services.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the analytical equipment industry or a related technical sales field.
• Strong technical knowledge of analytical equipment and applications.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand and convey complex technical information to a diverse audience.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
