Technical Director

The Company: Our client is a leading manufacturer of personal care tools. With a workforce of over 1,000 employees and a focus on automation and innovation, the company is committed to delivering high-quality products and staying competitive in the global market.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead the process lifecycle, from sample analysis, research, and design to production process setup, costing, and production handover.
• Establish technology standards to ensure smooth production operations and support internal teams in applying these technologies effectively.
• Respond to customer feedback to improve and refine production technologies.
• Apply new manufacturing techniques and optimize processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency, including machine development for production enhancement.
• Manage R&D and product improvement projects, aligning with the company’s strategic goals.
• Oversee equipment and infrastructure, including mold manufacturing, CNC machining, and other production tools.
• Set and monitor work objectives (KPIs/OKRs) and budgets to measure outcomes.
• Develop and implement internal training programs for engineers.
• Safeguard and maintain confidentiality of technology assets such as designs and data.
• Participate in new product development and innovation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in mold design and precision mechanical processing. At least 3 years of experience managing technical teams..
• In-depth knowledge of materials, mold stamping, heat treatment, and metal processing technologies.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
• Strong project management, budget management, and team leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with fluency in English.
