About the job
The Company: Our client is one of the global leaders offering naturally good food & beverage ingredients and solutions.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Supervising and ensuring compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PIT, Customs, etc.) across all branches and sites of the assigned business in Vietnam.
• Staying updated on regulatory changes that may impact company operations.
• Creating and implementing policies and procedures to comply with local and national regulations.
• Handling the acquisition and renewal process of licenses, permits, and registrations necessary for the assigned business operations.
• Maintaining an updated database of all licenses and permits.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts and agreements, such as vendor contracts and service agreements,.
• Ensuring contract compliance with tax regulations and minimizing potential company risks.
• Government Relations Establishment: Cultivating positive relationships with tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders regarding tax matters.
• Maintaining organized records of all tax-related documents and communications.
• Generating regular reports on tax activities and updates for senior management.
• Good experience in the Customs sector.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience as a Tax Manager or in a similar capacity.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with proficient analytical capabilities.
• Fluency in both written and verbal English and Vietnamese.
• Willingness to travel, as and when required.
