Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of three key teams: Purchasing, Planning, and Warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring that our supply chain processes run smoothly and efficiently, meeting both internal and external customer needs.
Purchasing Management:
• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies in alignment with company goals.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials and products.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to resolve issues and discrepancies.
Planning Management:
• Oversee demand planning and forecasting to ensure accurate production schedules.
• Coordinate with production and sales teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain inventory planning systems to optimize costs and meet customer demands.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning and forecasting.
Warehouse Management:
• Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, distribution, and inventory management.
• Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse safety and operations.
• Develop strategies to optimize space utilization and reduce handling costs.
• Ensure accurate and timely shipment of products to customers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing purchasing, planning, and warehouse functions.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
