The Company: Our client is a leading provider of automation and sensor solutions, specializing in cutting-edge technologies that enhance industrial efficiency, precision, and productivity. With a strong presence in manufacturing, automotive, electronics, and other industrial sectors, they are expanding their footprint in Vietnam and seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive direct B2B sales and market growth.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in automation, sensors, and industrial control solutions.
- Drive direct B2B sales, targeting manufacturers, system integrators, and OEM clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Work closely with distributors and partners to expand market reach.
- Technical Consultation & Solution Selling
- Provide technical expertise and recommend suitable sensor and automation solutions for customer applications.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on training for clients.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Sales Strategy & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to refine sales approaches.
- Prepare and submit sales forecasts, reports, and project updates to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales, specifically in automation, sensors, or industrial control systems.
- Proven track record in direct B2B sales, business development, and key account management.
- Strong background in working with manufacturing, intralogistics, automotive, electronics, or industrial clients.
- Strong knowledge of sensors, industrial automation, and process control solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and technical sales reporting.
- Good in English.
