Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead their senior sales team in the textile and garment division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the textile industry, a proven track record in sales management, and the ability to drive business growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies. This role is critical in expanding our market share, building long-term relationships with key clients, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy Development:
o Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
o Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth areas.
o Collaborate with the product development team to align sales strategies with product offerings.
• Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, setting clear performance goals and expectations.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to enhance team performance.
o Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, encouraging collaboration and innovation.
• Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
o Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring profitable terms and conditions.
o Address client concerns and provide solutions to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Market Analysis and Reporting:
o Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify threats and opportunities.
o Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
o Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies as necessary.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with the marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and market strategies.
o Participate in product launches and promotional activities to drive sales.
o Coordinate with the finance department to manage pricing strategies and payment terms.
• Business Development:
o Explore and develop new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and joint ventures.
o Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
o Drive expansion into new markets, both domestically and internationally.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales management, with at least 5 years in the textile or garment industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large sales teams.
• Strong understanding of the textile and garment market, including trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
