Senior Mechanical Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute mechanical engineering tasks for offshore and onshore oil and gas projects.
• Oversee onshore fabrication yard and offshore site activities, including construction field engineering, installation, testing, and hook-up & commissioning of facilities.
• Develop and review detailed engineering designs, specifications, and procurement processes for upstream offshore systems.
• Manage project implementation, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
• Provide technical support during all phases of construction, commissioning, and project handover.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with experience in offshore projects.
• Hands-on experience in onshore fabrication and offshore installations.
• Advanced expertise in offshore upstream engineering, including detailed design, field engineering, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments and collaborate with diverse teams.
