The Company: Our client is an iconic Home Appliances brand, with long-standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific, specifically in Vietnam. We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior General Manager to lead their business including manufacturing operations in Vietnam. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and innovation within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional results in the home appliances industry.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
o Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the home appliances business and manufacturing divisions.
o Lead cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
o Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Operational Excellence:
o Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, from production planning to quality control and distribution.
o Implement best practices in manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
• Team Leadership and Development:
o Build and mentor a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
o Provide leadership and guidance to department heads and managers, setting clear goals and performance metrics.
o Promote professional development and talent retention strategies to build a strong and capable workforce.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
o Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and product specifications throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
o Implement quality assurance processes and quality control measures to maintain high levels of product excellence.
o Collaborate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Financial Management:
o Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives.
o Optimize manufacturing operations to achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess performance and drive profitability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience of at least 12 -15 years in a senior management role within the home appliances manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and market dynamics.
