Senior Electrical Inspector (Oil & Gas)

• Inspection and Compliance
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations, systems, and equipment.
  • Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, project specifications, and safety codes.
  • Verify compliance with regulations, including hazardous area classifications (e.g., ATEX, IECEx).
• Technical Oversight and Monitoring
  • Review and validate design drawings, technical documents, and project plans.
  • Supervise on-site electrical activities, ensuring proper installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Monitor system performance during commissioning to ensure functionality aligns with requirements.
• Problem-Solving and Reporting
  • Identify non-conformances or deviations and propose corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection and progress reports to document findings and actions taken.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with experience in offshore projects.
• Hands-on experience in onshore fabrication and offshore installations.
• Advanced expertise in offshore upstream engineering, including detailed design, field engineering, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
