About the job

The Company: Our client is an iconic Machinery brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and increase market share in the molding machines sector.
  • Identify and engage with new business opportunities, driving lead generation and conversion across target industries (automotive, packaging, consumer goods, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, monitoring sales performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to meet their goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies and respond effectively to changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A technical background in machinery is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management within the molding machines or related industrial machinery sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical products and solutions, and effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a sales team.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance metrics.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events.
