The Company: Our client is an iconic Machinery brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and increase market share in the molding machines sector.
- Identify and engage with new business opportunities, driving lead generation and conversion across target industries (automotive, packaging, consumer goods, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, monitoring sales performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to meet their goals.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies and respond effectively to changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A technical background in machinery is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales management within the molding machines or related industrial machinery sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical products and solutions, and effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a sales team.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance metrics.
- Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events.
