Role & Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in line with company goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead market research to expand client base within logistics and warehousing services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and potential clients.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and report regularly on KPIs.
- Work with marketing to develop promotional strategies and materials to increase visibility and brand presence.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals with prospective clients.
Customer Service Management:
- Lead the customer service team to ensure a high level of service quality and satisfaction for all clients.
- Implement best practices in customer support, including timely responses, issue resolution, and proactive communication.
- Monitor customer feedback and work with internal teams to continuously improve the client experience.
- Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of logistics services.
- Oversee the entire customer lifecycle, ensuring retention and satisfaction while addressing any escalations or challenges.
Team Leadership:
- Train, mentor, and guide sales and customer service teams to achieve their full potential.
- Set team performance goals and regularly monitor individual progress.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the sales and customer service teams.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the operations, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations.
- Coordinate with finance, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of contracts, payments, and service upgrades.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote our services and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in sales and customer service management, preferably in the logistics and warehousing industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain operations, and warehousing solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
