Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Manager

The Company: Our client is an iconic Industrial brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage safety, health, and environmental programs in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections across all sites to ensure adherence to SHE policies.
• Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee the development of safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring compliance and proper understanding of SHE practices.
• Monitor and report SHE performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
• Manage emergency response plans, including drills and incident preparedness initiatives.
• Collaborate with the engineering, operations, and HR teams to reduce risks and improve SHE processes.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and manage waste, emissions, and energy efficiency programs.
• Lead initiatives to promote a proactive safety culture and environmental awareness across all departments.
• Maintain documentation and records related to SHE incidents, audits, and compliance reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA certification) are preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a SHE or related role, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of local and international SHE regulations and best practices.
• Proven experience in managing SHE systems, conducting risk assessments, and leading safety audits.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in incident investigation and reporting.
