Regional Head of Finance (Hanoi)

The Company: A global industry leader is looking for an experienced Regional Head of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of their regional business.

About the Regional Head of Finance (Hanoi) Role: This role plays a critical part in ensuring the regional business’ financial health, compliance with regulations, and the achievement of financial goals. Also, the position collaborates across functions (Operations, Sales, supply chain, HR, etc) as the finance subject matter expert.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Present accurate financial reports and provide insights to senior management.
• Manage working capital to ensure financial stability.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Monitor operational KPIs proactively.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain internal controls.
• Offer financial insights for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with leadership on financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction and process efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team.
• Foster a culture of accountability and establish strong working relationships with the group finance team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance (Professional Accounting Qualification is a plus)
• 15+ years’ experience in finance & accounting
• Proven experience as a CFO / Finance Director / Senior Financial Controller in a manufacturing or multinational environment
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory compliance
• Excellent financial analysis and forecasting skills.
• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills in general
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
