The Company: Our client is a global brand in the textile manufacturing sector, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Control
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards for dyeing and printing processes.
- Establish inspection protocols to ensure consistency in fabric color, fastness, and overall quality.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Process Improvement & Compliance
- Optimize dyeing and printing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
- Ensure compliance with international quality and environmental standards (e.g., ISO, OEKO-TEX, ZDHC).
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to implement new technologies and improve product performance.
- Team Leadership & Training
- Lead and develop the quality team, providing training on best practices and quality control methods.
- Foster a quality-driven culture within the production facility.
- Customer & Supplier Engagement
- Work closely with clients to understand their quality expectations and address concerns.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet required specifications.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in quality management within the textile dyeing and printing industry.
- Strong knowledge of fabric testing standards, dyeing chemistry, and printing techniques.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
