Responsibilities:
- Technical and Operational Oversight:
- Lead technical and operational aspects of the Steel & Iron Making business on site, ensuring maximum value and benefit to the company.
- Resolve technical issues and enhance operations through proactive planning and improvement initiatives.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Foster strong customer relationships by solving problems promptly and implementing relationship management strategies to prevent complaints and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Business and Inventory Planning:
- Develop annual operational and inventory plans by analyzing customer trends, optimizing supply chains, and ensuring efficient stock control systems.
- Monitor refractory cost, consumption, and deliveries, ensuring adherence to company standards to maximize profitability.
- Performance and Sales Forecasting:
- Set performance targets and establish annual sales budgets, forecasting expected volumes and profits for existing and new products.
- Manage market share, new product trials, and pricing strategies by staying current with industry trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Organize and lead the team to achieve customer satisfaction and company goals, mentoring and evaluating employees to enhance performance and address any HR issues.
- Site Management and Safety:
- Oversee on-site operations, ensuring quality, performance, and safety standards are met for assigned areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Engineering
- 5-10 years of managerial experience in heavy industries (Oil & Gas, Thermal Plant, Wind Farm,…) particularly in site operations or project management
- Proficient in English and Vietnamese.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Extensive experience in ensuring occupational safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior management.
- Proficient in time management and multitasking.
