Role & Responsibilities:
- Operations Management
- Create and manage production schedules to meet delivery goals and customer needs.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to align production with business objectives.
- Implement and improve processes using MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) and S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning).
- Ensure accuracy and quality in production documentation, following Total Quality Management principles.
- Employee Development and Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of production planners, providing support and guidance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Set clear performance goals for the team and conduct regular feedback sessions.
- Encourage teamwork and communication across departments to achieve production success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5-10 years in an international company, with similar role focusing on production and supply chain planning.
- Proficient understanding of supply chain, material management, warehouse management, logistics, and related areas.
- Familiarity with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP) systems.
- Understanding of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing methods (e.g., Kaizen, 5S) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills and effective time management capabilities.
- Familiarity with applicable computer systems, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
