As the Procurement Manager you will be a key member of the leadership team and assumes a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing all operational systems, processes, workflows, and procedures. In accordance with policies and procedures, manage and control procurement systems and procedures to continually improve the supply chain process, ensure cost effective contracting of products and services, and promote compliance internally with established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Exemplify companies standards of Business Conduct and values through all decisions and actions.
- Leading/working with the Procurement team, Project team, Marketing team, OPS, Sales, Chefs, and others Depts to ensure alignment around Business and Team goals.
- Formulating and executing the Strategic Sourcing Strategy
- Planning and executing regular strategic sourcing reviews to always ensure low cost /best value supply.
- Strategic sourcing reviews to include industry scans /assessments technology / innovation trends, competitor checks, suppliers’ business strategies, and plans.
- Understanding general cost structure of Construction, equipment, food, packaging, and non-food / non-packaging items & services to enable cost optimization discussions.
- Cost forecasting and action planning to offset any forecasted unfavorable impact.
- Managing the business relationships with suppliers and other partners covering the following key expectations geared toward Supplier Self-Managed Excellence.
- Helping build strong relationships and foster teamwork among functions, suppliers, and other Dept. heads via regular business reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, procurement, supply chain management, business management, foreign trade, or a relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the same position.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Good in English (speaking, writing, and listening)
- Excellent communication, listening, negotiation skills.
- Excellent analysis, risk management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within the deadline and prioritize effectively, while delivering high-quality work.
- Solution oriented with a high sense of ownership, quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience working in Retail, Construction, Jewelry, F&B industry is a plus.
- Follow deadlines, integrity, disciplined, willing to learn and can-do attitude.
