Role & Responsibilities:
- Process Development & Optimization
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Develop and implement automation and mechanization solutions to streamline production.
- Production Support & Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for production defects and inefficiencies.
- Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with ISO, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain product consistency and reliability.
- Develop and implement process control measures to prevent defects and deviations.
- New Product & Equipment Introduction
- Support the development and integration of new production lines, equipment, and technologies.
- Assist in process validation and testing before full-scale implementation.
- Coordinate with design and R&D teams to ensure smooth transition from prototyping to mass production.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyze process performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), process efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, and materials science.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and process simulation tools.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Understanding of equipment maintenance and reliability strategies.
