Process Engineer

The Company: Our client is an iconic Industrial brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Process Development & Optimization
  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Develop and implement automation and mechanization solutions to streamline production.
• Production Support & Troubleshooting
  • Identify and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for production defects and inefficiencies.
  • Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with ISO, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain product consistency and reliability.
  • Develop and implement process control measures to prevent defects and deviations.
• New Product & Equipment Introduction
  • Support the development and integration of new production lines, equipment, and technologies.
  • Assist in process validation and testing before full-scale implementation.
  • Coordinate with design and R&D teams to ensure smooth transition from prototyping to mass production.
• Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Collect and analyze process performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), process efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management for decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.:
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, and materials science.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and process simulation tools.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Understanding of equipment maintenance and reliability strategies.
