The Company: Our client is a well-known Automotive brand with long-standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across the Asia Pacific.
The PR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies to enhance the company’s image, increase brand awareness, and manage the company’s reputation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns to enhance the company’s public image and market presence.
• Manage and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
• Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
• Coordinate and oversee all public relations activities, including media interviews, press conferences, and corporate events.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities and their impact.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
• Handle crisis communication and manage the company’s response to any public relations issues.
• Plan and execute social media strategies to enhance online presence and engagement.
• Manage the PR budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Provide PR training and guidance to company spokespeople and executives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong media relations skills and a network of industry contacts.
• Experience with social media platforms and digital PR strategies.
