People Partner (HRBP)

Our client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced People Partner who will act as the face of the People team, partnering with the senior management team and functional heads to optimize business performance of the business division through identifying opportunities, developing and delivering effective People strategies, plans and activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the line management for development and training initiatives to drive productivity and add value to the company.
- Support line management to identify and manage high performing/high potential individuals.
- Ensure all line management have delivered that all top and bottom performers have clear and stretching development plans to fulfil career and ensure succession is in place for key positions.
- Develop, implement, measure and review a resource plan that ensures the delivery of the resource requirement at the appropriate point in time.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the delivery of the manpower and succession plan and making the necessary improvements
- Advise, challenge and support Managers in their role on people-related matters (e.g. performance management, personal & team development, career path implementation, and resource & succession planning)
- Lead, develop and manage local People team to ensure identification and delivery of People priorities in line with the business plan.
- Contribute to C&B Projects, such as preparing staff cost operating plan and quarterly reforecast according to latest business updates, benefits scheme renewal, retention program as required.
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and benefits within the region.
- Involve in implementation, management and enhancements of HRIS for international sourcing offices.
Key Requirements:
- Generalist HR knowledge with experience working with talent management & development, resource planning, organisation design, change and performance management, HR projects and colleague engagement.
- Minimum 10 years of HR / Business Partner experience, preferably in multinational industries in a regional scope.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Exposure to reward, ER agenda (e.g., case management) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to identify & analyse trends from both business and people management information.
- Developed networking skills, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with all levels.
- With excellent analytical, communication and influential skills to senior level stakeholders
- Clear understanding of HR, its processes, policies, and governance so to support business objectives, be able to identify & source appropriate expertise, and to provide sound advice & coaching.
- Action-oriented and well-organized.
- Excellent team player, adaptive to change and able to navigate through ambiguity.
- Understanding of the HR function and its processes and policies in order to advise on its capability to support business objectives and be able to identify where to source appropriate specialist expertise.
- Facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Good command of English (master of local language of the region is a plus)
- Solid experience in HRIS.
