Role & Responsibilities:
- Project Management and Coordination
- Lead the entire marine outboard motor project in Vietnam, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Act as the primary liaison with international manufacturers and suppliers, particularly those based in Japan and Thailand, to coordinate product availability, delivery schedules, and quality assurance.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle, from planning and execution to post-launch performance evaluation.
- Market Research and Strategy Development
- Conduct thorough market research to analyze customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities in the Vietnamese marine market.
- Identify potential business opportunities and develop a market entry strategy to establish a strong presence in the domestic market.
- Design and implement sales strategies tailored to local customer preferences, aiming to maximize brand visibility and market share.
- Sales Channel Development and Management
- Establish and nurture relationships with domestic dealers and distribution partners to build a strong sales network.
- Develop a dealer support program to ensure optimal sales performance and high standards of customer service.
- Set up and manage KPIs to monitor dealer performance, customer satisfaction, and sales growth.
- Financial Management and Budget Control
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor expenses and perform cost control measures to stay within budget while maximizing project impact.
- Regularly report financial performance to management, highlighting areas of success and improvement.
- Service and After-Sales Support
- Design and implement a service strategy to ensure prompt and effective support for customers, including maintenance and spare parts availability.
- Set up service centers and a spare parts supply chain to meet customer expectations and increase customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with the technical team to provide dealer and customer training on maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate sales performance, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and prepare detailed reports for senior management, providing insights into project progress and strategic recommendations.
- Identify any issues or bottlenecks in the project and propose actionable solutions to address them.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact the marine outboard business.
- Take on additional tasks or projects as assigned by the management to support the company’s broader business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years in project management, preferably in new business development or market entry projects.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools for task planning, tracking, and resource allocation.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, .
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
