Role & Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Vision
   • Define, lead, and implement the commercial property division’s strategic direction, aligning with the overall company vision.
   • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for growth within target markets, assessing feasibility and profitability.
   • Stay informed of market trends and economic factors to position the company at the forefront of commercial property development.
2. Portfolio Development & Management
   • Oversee the planning, acquisition, and development of commercial property projects from concept through to delivery.
   • Ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
   • Manage and optimize a portfolio of assets to achieve maximum financial and operational performance.
3. Business Development & Client Relationship Management
   • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, tenants, local authorities, and partners.
   • Drive business development efforts to secure high-profile clients and attract long-term tenants.
   • Represent the company at industry events, enhancing visibility and reputation in the commercial property sector.
4. Financial Performance & Budgeting
   • Set and manage annual budgets, revenue targets, and performance metrics to achieve financial goals.
   • Analyze and report on financial performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure profitability.
   • Collaborate with the finance team to secure project funding, manage risk, and optimize capital structure.
5. Team Leadership & Development
   • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled professionals across project management, asset management, leasing, and sales.
   • Promote a collaborative and high-performance culture within the division.
   • Foster continuous professional development and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
6. Innovation & Sustainability
   • Drive innovative approaches in design, construction, and operational practices to enhance sustainability and future-proof assets.
   • Champion the use of technology and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate with a focus on finance and investment, or in a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in commercial property development, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale commercial real estate projects from inception to completion.
• Extensive knowledge of real estate market dynamics, investment analysis, and asset management principles.
• Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with demonstrated experience in budgeting and P&L management.
