HR Assistant Manager (SEA)

The Company: Our client is an iconic Industrial brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
o Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment process for SEA offices.
o Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and assist in making hiring decisions.
o Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
2. Employee Relations:
o Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns and promoting a positive working environment.
o Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, maintaining a fair and respectful workplace.
o Conduct regular employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
3. Performance Management:
o Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
o Provide guidance to managers on addressing performance issues and fostering employee growth.
4. HR Compliance:
o Stay current on employment laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and procedures align with legal requirements.
o Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
o Liaise with the regional finance payroll team and the payroll vendors in each local country on monthly payroll processing.
5. Benefits Administration:
o Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
o Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with any related inquiries.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 8 years relevant working experiences in a multi-national company
• Strong communication skill, familiar with different cultures across regions
• Have a good understanding of Vietnam labor laws and regulations. Have knowledge of SEA labor/talent market will be a plus
• Fluent English and good computer skills; Candidates with HRBP and C&B experience would be a plus
• Strong teamwork spirit, open minded, customer oriented
