Head of Procurement (F&B)

The Company: Our client is one of the leading multinational corporations in FMCG consulting in Vietnam.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute material sourcing strategies to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and supplies for F&B operations, particularly in the Alcohol Beverage category.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery, consistent quality, and cost-effectiveness of Alcohol Beverage products and ingredients.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements for Alcohol Beverage procurement.
• Oversee contract management processes, including drafting, reviewing, and renewing contracts related to Alcohol Beverage procurement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with inventory planning and management strategies specific to Alcohol Beverage products.
• Implement quality assurance measures to maintain product standards and compliance with regulatory requirements in the Alcohol Beverage category.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization within Alcohol Beverage procurement and implement initiatives to reduce expenses while preserving quality.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and minimize operational impacts in Alcohol Beverage procurement.
• Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to generate insights, track key performance indicators, and optimize procurement processes for Alcohol Beverage products.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate procurement performance, trends, and recommendations regarding Alcohol Beverage procurement to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• From 10 years of experience in procurement, with a significant focus on heavily procuring Alcohol Beverage products.
• Experience in inventory planning and management within the assigned sector, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices relevant to Alcohol Beverage procurement.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
