Head of Procurement

The Company: Our client is a well-established manufacturing group specializing in essential consumer goods, with a strong presence across Asia. Committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement, the company is currently elevating its sourcing and procurement capabilities to support its long-term growth strategy and export expansion.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a strategic procurement roadmap focusing on cost optimization, quality, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align procurement plans.
• Monitor market trends to identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate with both local and international suppliers.
• Optimize supply chain processes to support efficient manufacturing operations and accelerate time-to-market.
• Support cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives in partnership with production and finance teams.
• Drive supplier evaluation, performance management, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead and develop a high-performing sourcing & procurement team, fostering a proactive and agile mindset.
• Oversee strategic sourcing projects and ensure long-term sustainability and reliability of supplier networks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and cost control.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing supply chains and procurement workflows.
• Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, preferably Chinese with the ability to work effectively with international partners.
