The Head of Legal will provide legal advice to the Board of Directors and General Director on legal issues related to business operations, significant projects, and transactions and monitor compliance with legal regulations in the company’s activities, including labor laws, intellectual property, anti-corruption, fire prevention and fighting, and other relevant legal fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize regular internal audits to assess and ensure legal compliance, developing and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
- Organize the registration, monitoring, renewal, and protection of the company’s intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
- Advise and implement legal defense measures to prevent violations of the company’s intellectual property rights.
- Work with lawyers and legal advisors to resolve intellectual property disputes, protecting the company’s rights and interests.
- Conduct training sessions to raise legal awareness among staff at all levels.
- Develop and update contract templates, provide usage guidelines, and monitor adjustments to ensure effectiveness and compliance with the business and legal environment over time.
- Represent the company in handling requests from government agencies for information according to procedures and regulations, coordinating with relevant departments to prepare and respond to requests, inquiries, or complaints from government bodies.
- Manage legal issues and dispute resolutions, including negotiations, mediation, arbitration, or litigation, tracking and updating cases, assessing legal risks, and proposing resolution strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law (Economic Law, Business Law, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal positions at foreign companies or companies with 1,000 employees, or in banking or e-commerce.
- Knowledge and experience in corporate legal operations, with a basic understanding of information technology: proficiency in common software, computer skills, etc.
- Deep understanding of specialized laws relevant to the profession.
- Proficient in legal English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- Preference for candidates with a lawyer’s practice certificate.
