As the Head of Legal, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing legal strategies that uphold the integrity and objectives of our organization. The ideal candidate will lead a comprehensive range of legal activities, including contract negotiation, compliance oversight, risk management, policy development, and dispute resolution. This role presents an exceptional chance to shape the legal framework of a company that values both professional development and employee well-being.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and ensure the company’s unwavering adherence to legal guidelines and regulations, thereby safeguarding our impeccable reputation.
• Give advice and monitor all applicable aspects of the law, ensuring that the Group business follows the proper procedure in every way possible.
• Serve as the primary source of expert legal advice for our esteemed management team, addressing a diverse spectrum of issues.
• Assume a pivotal role in formulating strategic defense strategies aimed at minimizing legal risks and staunchly protecting the company’s legal interests.
• Take the lead in specifying and developing internal governance policies and procedures. Continuously assess and enhance these policies to align with changing legal requirements.
• Manage and oversee legal disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters. Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary and represent the company’s interests effectively.
• Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust.
• Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
• Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces.
• Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
Requirements
• 8+ Years of In-house counsel or law firm experience
• Proficient in developing and communicating sound legal advice and analysis, considering business objectives and risk mitigation.
• Impressive communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and convey complex legal concepts.
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects and prioritizing competing work assignments effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen to assess legal issues and provide strategic solutions.
