About the job

The Company: Our client is a leading global food manufacturing company, dedicated to sustainable aquaculture and high-quality seafood products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure timely, complete, and compliant financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Performance Analysis: Provide meaningful analysis of business performance, supporting financial goal achievement.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Responsible for annual budget process and producing high-quality weekly EBIT forecasts.
• Cost Control: Review and control standard product costs, monitor actual processing costs, and recommend improvements.
• Investment Management: Evaluate new business opportunities, track investments against ROI, and manage yearly capex.
• Internal and External Compliance: Coordinate annual audits, comply with local banking and government regulations, and adhere to the Group’s Code of Conduct.
• Internal Controls: Regularly review and improve internal control systems, ensuring efficient transaction-processing operations.
• Management and Advisory: Oversee accounting and controlling activities, maintain accounting policies, and provide financial advisory to department heads.
• People Development: Mentor and coach team members, enhancing their competencies and effectiveness.
• Procurement Management: Oversee purchasing operations, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or business administration.
• Over 10 years of progressively responsible experience, specifically in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong accounting, financial analysis, and Excel/database skills.
• Good organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Experience in implementing ERP systems, process improvements.
• Positive, motivated attitude towards learning and enhancing processes.
• Fluent English
