Role & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
  • Define and execute the engineering roadmap to align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data Science, and Business Development) to drive platform evolution.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure the platform remains competitive.
• Technical Oversight:
  • Oversee the design, development, deployment, and scaling of the AI platform, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.
  • Establish and enforce best practices in software engineering, architecture, and AI model deployment.
  • Guide the team in selecting tools, frameworks, and technologies suitable for the fintech/banking domain.
• Team Development:
  • Build, mentor, and retain a world-class engineering team with a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Provide technical and professional growth opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as a key liaison between engineering and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of priorities and effective communication.
  • Present technical strategies and progress to executive leadership and investors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 7 years in leadership roles.
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production.
• Domain expertise in fintech or banking services, including understanding of financial systems, compliance, and security requirements.
• Proven experience building and leading diverse, high-performing engineering teams.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and drive consensus among stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style.
