The Company: Our client is a leading multinational manufacturing company in the FEED industry, renowned for their innovation, quality, and commitment to sustainability. With a global footprint and a strong presence in Vietnam, they are dedicated to providing high-quality feed products that meet the evolving needs of their clients worldwide.
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic leader to take on the role of Head of Business (Feed) for our client’s operations in Vietnam. This pivotal position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the feed business, from commercial strategies to factory operations, ensuring the company’s growth and success in the market. The role requires a deep understanding of the feed industry and strong leadership capabilities to guide the team and drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives in the feed sector, aligning with the company’s overall goals and vision.
- Commercial Management: Oversee all commercial activities including sales, marketing, and business development to drive market share and revenue growth. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Operational Oversight: Manage all factory operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. Work closely with production teams to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across various functions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
- Financial Responsibility: Manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and ensure the profitability of the feed business. Monitor financial metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats. Adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
- Reporting: Report directly to the General Director of the Region, providing regular updates on business performance, challenges, and opportunities. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the executive team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the feed industry, with a strong track record in both commercial and operational roles. Proven leadership experience in managing large teams and complex operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the feed industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in both commercial and production aspects.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a focus on strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. Fluency in English is required;
- Cultural Fit: Open to both expatriate and local talent, with a preference for candidates who can adapt to the cultural and business environment in Vietnam.
