Role Overview: The Factory Manager (Apparel) oversees plans, directs, organizes, and executes factory operational strategies designed to meet the factory’s overall business goal. This role demands operational leadership in the apparel industry, focusing on efficiency, quality, and financial performance.
Reports To: General Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Develops and implements operational strategies to bridge gaps in personnel and processes, ensuring the achievement of business objectives.
• Applies management controls, regularly reviews KPIs, and ensures the plan’s execution.
• Anticipates potential business challenges, and devises and implements countermeasures to mitigate their impact.
• Leads efforts in managing discrepancies between actual performance and planned targets, ensuring continuous monitoring and follow-up.
• Regularly reviews production and shipment statuses to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Collaborates with buyer representatives to resolve quality and delivery issues and provides technical advice to the factory.
• Makes decisions on reallocating and adjusting production within Clusters 1 & 3 to address delivery concerns.
• Works with the Organizational Change and Development & IE Departments on special projects focused on process and operational improvements, monitoring and following through on results.

• Meets Expectations:
o Effective planning and implementation of operational plans based on set directions.
o 100% achievement of KPIs related to efficiency, quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
o Full execution of operational plans.
• Above Expectations: Surpassing at least one set KPI target.
Cost Control:
• Review, plan, and implement approved annual budgets, ensuring cost control measures align with financial targets.
• Understands and reviews the company’s financial goals concerning cost per minute and profitability ratios.
• Monitors and controls the provision and utilization of approved resource budgets, including headcount, overhead, and other related variable costs.
• Enforces cost control measures to ensure budget compliance, seeking GM approval for:
o Hiring and staffing decisions
o Salary increases for staff
o Work on Sundays and holidays
o Capital expenditure purchases
o Air pre-paid shipments
• Reviews and manages costs related to utilities, factory supplies, and other non-labor variable expenses.
• Regularly examines Factory Cost Reports, addressing any deviations between plan and actual costs.

o 100% achievement of target factory cost per minute.
o Zero air prepaid shipments due to factory inefficiencies.
• Above Expectations: Exceeding cost targets set by management.
