Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the maintenance department for dies and molds, developing and executing policies, strategies, and methods to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and goal-oriented operations.
- Oversee and improve the performance, safety, and productivity of mold and die operations.
- Supervise the repair and maintenance processes for dies, molds, and related machinery.
- Build and lead a high-performance Die & Mold Maintenance Team, focusing on recruitment, talent development, performance evaluations, training, and motivation to foster a strong work culture.
- Collaborate with senior management to align the department’s goals with the company’s broader objectives.
- Provide regular reports on the status of the maintenance operations, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress on goals.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of mold and die operations, utilizing innovative approaches and solutions.
- Contribute to problem-solving, ensuring that operations run efficiently and meet production standards.
Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar managerial role, preferably in manufacturing environments.
- In-depth expertise in die and mold maintenance, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in mold and die repair & maintenance, particularly in stamping dies.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and develop talent.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to think both strategically and tactically.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
- Innovative, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a diverse team environment.
