The Company: Our client is a leading provider of industrial automation solutions, offering cutting-edge technology and expertise to improve efficiency, productivity, and digital transformation in the manufacturing sector. With a strong presence in global markets, they are expanding operations in Vietnam and seeking a Country Manager to drive business growth and lead the team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Business Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the company’s business strategy in Vietnam to achieve sales targets and market expansion.
- Identify new market opportunities, build relationships with key industry players, and position the company as a leader in automation and smart manufacturing solutions.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to shape business decisions and drive long-term success.
- Sales & Business Development
- Lead and oversee the sales team to develop and close high-value projects in industrial automation and digital transformation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring profitable growth and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency in sales, technical support, and service functions.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to align business strategies and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial guidelines, and regulatory requirements in Vietnam.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team in sales, engineering, and operations.
- Foster a strong company culture that values innovation, customer focus, and performance excellence.
- Set KPIs and performance goals for the team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation or control systems, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or country management role.
- Strong track record in business development, sales leadership, and managing P&L in a multinational or high-growth environment.
- Extensive experience in B2B sales, project management, and partnership development within industries such as automotive, electronics, F&B, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a focus on business growth.
- Fluent in English; Vietnamese proficiency is an advantage.
