Role & Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the equipment industry within the country, aligning it with the company’s global objectives.

Sales and Business Development: Drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and expanding the customer base. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Operational Management: Oversee all operational aspects, including supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Financial Management: Manage the country’s budget, financial forecasts, and P&L to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Implement cost-control measures when necessary.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team. Provide guidance and leadership to ensure team members are aligned with the company’s goals and values.

Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with all relevant local laws, regulations, and industry standards. Handle permits, licenses, and certifications as required.

Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Market Analysis: Continuously assess market conditions, customer needs, and industry trends. Use this information to adapt the company’s strategies and product offerings.

Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the country’s performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans to safeguard the company’s interests and assets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in the equipment industry, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving revenue and profit targets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics in the equipment industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for business analysis and reporting.
