Country Finance Controller (hanoi)

Key Responsibilities:

• Month-End & Year-End Closing – Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting entries for financial period closures
• Cash & Working Capital Management – Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital efficiency
• Expense & Payment Management – Oversee and review expense/payment records in SAP, ensuring compliance with The Company’s GAAP and Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS)
• Financial Data Processing – Accurately record and manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and monthly financial finalization in SAP
• Internal Controls & Compliance – Implement and oversee internal controls, ensuring robust financial governance and risk mitigation
• Tax Compliance – Ensure full adherence to Vietnam’s direct and indirect tax regulations, minimizing compliance risks
• Financial Reporting – Prepare and submit monthly financial statements in The Company’s system, aligning with Group Finance deadlines
• Management & Group Reporting – Generate standard financial reports for local management and Group Finance, supporting strategic decision-making
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation – Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and report findings to Group Finance
• Audit & Regulatory Reporting – Manage year-end financial audits and tax audits, ensuring smooth regulatory compliance

Key Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• ACCA, CPA are preferred
• Over 10 years of experience, ideally in an FDI Manufacturing environment
• Background from Big 4 firms is desirable
• Proficiency in SAP and a strong understanding of banking process
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, VAS, VAT, and all relevant direct and indirect tax regulation
• Proactive, reliable, and committed to maintaining high organizational standards
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
