About the job
The Company: Our client is a leading multinational company that specializes in producing custom-molded components and innovative material solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee comprehensive financial and cost accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Manage daily finance and accounting operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of full sets of accounts.
• Conduct project cost forecasting, budgeting, tracking, monitoring, and control.
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, manage payments, and generate cash flow management reports for submission to the headquarters overseas.
• Review and approve payment vouchers and journal entries.
• Perform cash flow forecasting and budgeting; collaborate with operations and project teams to analyze margins, variances, and costs.
• Generate and review project cost reports.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and effective accounting systems and policies.
• Ensure intercompany cost allocations comply with management agreements and transfer pricing policies.
• Establish systems for cost sensitivity analysis and early detection of cost overruns.
• Collaborate with various departments to implement cost-reduction initiatives.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial and management accounting in the Manufacturing industry.
• Experience in audit and costing is a plus.
• Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to interact at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Independent and highly detail-oriented.
