Role & Responsibilities:
• Channel Strategy Development:
o Develop and execute comprehensive channel marketing strategies to support sales objectives and enhance brand presence across multiple distribution channels.
o Identify and prioritize key channel partners and develop tailored marketing programs to drive growth and market share.
• Marketing Program Management:
o Create and manage marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives that align with the company’s overall marketing and sales goals.
o Coordinate with product management, sales, and other departments to ensure marketing programs are effectively integrated and executed.
• Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including distributors, retailers, and contractors.
o Provide marketing support and resources to channel partners, helping them to promote and sell the company’s products effectively.
• Market Analysis and Insights:
o Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the building materials industry.
o Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Content Creation and Communication:
o Develop compelling marketing materials, including product brochures, sales presentations, and digital content, tailored to different channel audiences.
o Communicate marketing strategies and initiatives to internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment and engagement.
• Budget Management:
o Manage the channel marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI on marketing expenditures.
o Track and report on budget performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve marketing objectives.
• Training and Support:
o Provide training and support to channel partners on product features, benefits, and marketing programs.
o Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and other training events to enhance channel partner knowledge and engagement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in channel marketing, preferably in the building materials industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful channel marketing strategies and programs.
• Strong understanding of distribution channels, market dynamics, and customer needs within the building materials sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques, including social media, email marketing, and CRM systems.
• Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support channel partners and marketing initiatives.
