The Company: Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Industrial Sector, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Oversee vendor performance to ensure KPIs for on-time delivery and compliance with production schedules.
• Manage vendor relationships to prevent disruptions in production from procured parts.
• Procure metal parts, printing materials, and packing materials efficiently, ensuring quality standards.
• Drive cost reduction efforts with suppliers while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with the team to implement effective inventory control, manage vendor delivery schedules, and reduce overstock.
• Monitor supplier performance, including On-Time Delivery (OTD) rates, audits, and quality control.
• Establish and improve standard lead times for procured parts to boost efficiency.
• Adapt to various roles and responsibilities as needed, supporting different aspects of procurement and manufacturing.
Qualifications:
• Language: Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese AND/OR Chinese and Vietnamese.
• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of professional working experience in procurement and vendor management.
• Good knowledge of procurement for metal parts, printing materials, and packing materials.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost reductions with suppliers.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
