The Company: Our client is an iconic Industrial brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence in Vietnam.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Process Development: Design and develop adhesive processes for semiconductor assembly, including die attach, underfill, and encapsulation, ensuring robust bonding and long-term reliability.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improve adhesive processes by analyzing production data, conducting experiments, and implementing modifications to enhance yield, efficiency, and product performance.
• Material Selection: Collaborate with materials scientists and suppliers to evaluate and select adhesive materials that meet the specific requirements of semiconductor applications, including thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of adhesive dispensing and curing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime through regular calibration and troubleshooting.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and implement process control strategies to monitor and maintain consistent product quality, conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed to address defects or variations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, packaging, and quality assurance, to align adhesive processes with overall production goals and timelines.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process recipes, and experimental records to ensure process reproducibility and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all adhesive processes comply with industry safety standards and environmental regulations, promoting a safe and compliant working environment
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of process development, data analysis, and equipment management.
• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory; proficiency in English is also required.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
