Role & Responsibilities:
• Implementation and Integration: Lead the implementation and integration of PLM and MES systems into our existing operations, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams including design, production, quality assurance, and supply chain.
• System Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize PLM and MES systems to align with our specific business needs and processes, leveraging best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users to maximize utilization and proficiency with PLM and MES systems, addressing any technical issues or challenges that may arise.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve product development and manufacturing processes through data analysis and system optimization, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement robust quality control processes within PLM and MES systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships and collaboration with cross-functional teams, serving as a liaison between technology and business stakeholders to drive alignment and consensus on system enhancements and improvements.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with PLM and MES vendors, overseeing contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and ongoing system updates and upgrades.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with PLM and MES implementation and operation, proactively addressing issues to minimize disruptions to production schedules and product quality.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Textile Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLM and/or MES implementation and management, preferably in the textile garment industry.
• Strong understanding of textile garment manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in PLM and MES software platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, Lectra Fashion PLM, Gerber YuniquePLM, SAP ME, etc.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of leading successful system implementations from inception to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience leading and mentoring a team of technical professionals.
